Originally, the Oscar nomination ceremony was scheduled for January 17. However, due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, it was first postponed to January 19 and later rescheduled to January 23.

Actor-writer-comedians Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang will announce the nominations for the 97th annual Academy Awards, as per The Hollywood Reporter. The announcement will take place on Thursday in a live presentation from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
