Anglers caught plenty of trout — and enjoyed sunny and mild spring weather — during the NorCal Trout Anglers’s Challenge event at Collins Lake.

The lake is being planted with trout weekly. The lake was stocked with a 2,000 pound private plant including trophy rainbows and a 1,000 pound CDFW plant the week of April 3.
