The 18th-ranked Michigan Wolverines seek their fourth straight victory with an early Saturday afternoon matchup with the Northwestern Wildcats at historic Wrigley Field.

No. 18 Michigan had a hiatus from the College Football Playoff last season, but the Wolverines have made three of the last four -- including a 2023 national championship. Heading into the home stretch of the season, the program still has an outside shot to reach the postseason again.

The Michigan Wolverines have been ravaged by injuries so far in the 2025 season. 25 different playmakers have missed time due to injury this year, and it's taken a toll on the roster.

Michigan debuted in the CFP rankings at No. 21 last week after narrowly beating Purdue, 21-16, on Nov. 1. While the Wolverines are 7-2 with losses to Oklahoma and USC, they don’t have a win over a ranked opponent this year.
