The "Pure Oldies" station isn't a stranger to going all-Yule. In 2021, the station switched to all Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving, the third Milwaukee radio outlet to go all-Yule.

Oldies station 106.9 WRXS FM hopped into holiday mode sooner than usual earlier this month, switching to Christmas music on Nov. 1 as opposed to the typical mid-November timing.

Some stations around the country jumped to an all-Christmas music format early this year. But not Milwaukee's usual suspects.
