The FDA said the cat got sick after it ate a batch of RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats sliders that tested positive for a strain of the H5N1 Avian Influenza.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is alerting pet owners that it has detected bird flu contamination in certain batches of a product called “RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats” and that there appears to be a link to a San Francisco cat that became ill.

The recalled cat food, RAWR Raw Cat Food Chicken Eats, was sold in 2.5-pound yellow and white bags with black lettering. Bought it? Toss it.
