The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the visiting Buffalo Bills, 23-19, in the preseason finale. Kyle Trask started the game at quarterback and completed 13 of 17 attempts for 93 yards (108.2 rating) and a touchdown to Tez Johnson in the first half.

Tucker came back in after a strong first half to have some carries in the fourth quarter. He finishes the night with 12 carries for 42 yards and one touchdown. The young running back had flashes of brilliance during the 2024 season but he could find himself being used much more in Josh Grizzard's offense in 2025.

If there was one thing that Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott was looking for Saturday night, it was how his team would respond after such a terrible performance a week ago in Chicago. Beating Tampa Bay wasn’t necessarily the primary goal because evaluation was much more important in the preseason finale with roster cuts coming early next week,

Rookies Tez Johnson and Garrett Greene both scored their first touchdowns of the preseason on Saturday against the Buffalo Bills. Johnson was looking like he was going to have a place on this roster regardless of Saturday, because of what he brings to the return game. As for Greene, he has had much more of a mountain to climb.
