Vice President Vance will give remarks from Israel on Tuesday as the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza remains on shaky ground. Vance was greeted with a red carpet in Tel Aviv by U.S.

Israel has strengthened its security with a series of sweeping military victories in the past two years. It has also become far more isolated internationally, with no clear path ahead.

Hamas released all 20 living Israeli hostages Monday, and Israel released more than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners as part of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. U.S. President Donald Trump visited the region to discuss postwar plans.
