Katie Stensgard is the subject of a new documentary called "Grit & Grace" that debuts Sept. 5 at the Fargo Theatre.

It traces the origins of jiu-jitsu, grappling and MMA, highlighting protagonists Jigoro Kano, Mitsuyo Maeda and four generations of Gracie family, culminating in the modern MMA era.
