If the auroras extend down towards southern Ontario and Quebec, there could be a good chance of catching a glimpse of the lights as there is minimal cloud cover over those two regions. Those in Western and Atlantic Canada may be out of luck as there are a layer of clouds covering the atmosphere in those regions.

The celestial spectacle may be visible in northern Michigan, Maine and the nation’s high latitudes, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Space Weather Prediction Center said. Most of Alaska should be able to see it.
