Army football had a pair of players named to the Associated Press All-Bowl Team, from postseason games played outside of the College Football Playoff. Senior offensive lineman Will Jeffcoat and freshman running back Godspower Nwawuihe were highlighted following their efforts in Army's 41-16 victory over Connecticut in the Fenway Bowl on Dec. 27.

Godspower Nwawuihe, a 5-11, 211-pound, bruiser from Garland, Texas, rushed for 171 yards on 12 carries and two touchdowns for the Black Knights.

Army went up 14-0 by halftime as Andy Davidson scored on a pair of 1-yard runs. However, Navy tacked on 10 points in the third quarter and pulled ahead 17-14 on a 41-yard run by Zach Abey (his second of the game). Army responded with a 9-yard scoring run by quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw with six minutes left and held on for the win.

Senior linebacker and co-captain Kalib Fortner becomes the 28th Army football player invited to the Hula Bowl. The showcase week is hosted in Florida.
