President Donald Trump has changed course on his plans for the new and under construction White House ballroom by appointing a new lead architect for the project.

President Trump has swapped architects to lead the construction of a ballroom on the White House grounds, an administration official confirmed Thursday.

Trump has said he plans to use private donations to pay for the ballroom, which is projected to cost $300 million after it was initially ballparked at $200 million.
