Severe thunderstorms could bring damaging winds, hail or possibly even a tornado to the Albany area.

The chilldown, due to a cold front, comes after a week of high temperatures, some of which straddled the 80s.

Temperatures are forecast to begin climbing Monday and surge into the mid-80s in the mid-Hudson Valley by Thursday.
