Hose connector (s): Most tools have either one or two of these air compressor fittings. The hose connector is where you plug in the air compressor hoses that connect to your tools.

Air tools and hoses don't come with fittings installed so unless you buy an air compressor that comes with a starter kit (see the #2 Craftsman), you'll need at a minimum some fittings and an air hose.
