The Acer A500 Ice Cream Sandwich update is supposed to be available today for all owners. On Wednesday, a lucky few received the update early, but the rest should have it today.

A new BIOS update increases power to the graphics card, which should boost performance on select Acer gaming laptops.

On Acer's support page, the company revealed that US owners of the 7-inch Acer A100 and 10.1-inch A500 tablets will begin receiving the ICS update starting April 27 th.
