Wimbledon 2025 has had its moments of drama. Aryna Sabaleka, the world's #1 tennis player, helped deliver her share of it when she won a tense match against German Laura Siegemund, Sabalenka said after the July 8 match that she thought she was going to lose after the first set.

The world No. 1 was thrown off by Siegemund's changes in pace and rhythm, but came through in three tight, tense sets.

Aryna Sabalenka trailed by a set, then twice was down a break in the third before grabbing the last three games to reach the Wimbledon semifinals.
