A group of migrants were intercepted Friday night by the U.S. Coast Guard about 20 nautical miles off of Vero Beach, agency officials said Saturday. The Coast Guard took an undisclosed number of people from a 25-foot personal vessel at about 11 p.m. Friday, Coast Guard spokesman Petty Officer Nicholas Strasburg said Saturday morning.
