Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through Tuesday, with locally heavy rainfall posing the primary weather concern. Some areas may see precipitation rates up to an inch per hour, potentially causing localized flooding.
The National Hurricane Center is watching two areas of interest in the Atlantic that seem to be following a similar path as Erin.
Storms come back tomorrow. Our next cold front is heading our way on Tuesday. Plan on a stray t-storms in the morning, but the better chance for rain and storms will hold off until the afternoon and evening.

Things quiet down once we get into Tuesday night. Showers and storms move out, skies begin to clear, and lows dip to about 67 degrees. A shift in the wind out of the north will actually help dry us out a little, giving us a break from the humidity heading into Thursday.
Shortly before 6 a.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Westwood Hills, moving south at 30 mph, according to the weather service. Wind gusts as high as 60 mph and penny-sized hail were possible. The warning has since expired.
LATE WEEK: Unsettled weather remains through the end of the week. While it won’t be a washout any day, it will be a wetter weather pattern. It will bring temperatures down a touch into the mid-upper 80s.
