The Sphere - the ground-breaking venue in Las Vegas where U2 wowed audiences with tens of record-breaking shows - has announced a new location. The world's second Sphere will open in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to host the world's second Sphere entertainment complex, following the success of the first in Las Vegas. Abu Dhabi's Department of Culture and Tourism, in partnership with Sphere Entertainment Co., announced plans to bring the innovative structure to the Middle East on Tuesday.

The first Sphere opened in Las Vegas in 2023 and is the world’s largest structure hosting concerts and sporting events.

When our team last reported on Eagles Sphere tickets, tickets started at $272 before fees on Vivid Seats. Now, one week later, some seats were going for as low as $249 before fees. While that may not seem like a monumental drop, be aware that tickets are cheaper for more than half of the Eagles upcoming Sphere concerts.

The Sphere is headed to Abu Dhabi. The Sphere, which illuminates Las Vegas’ skyline and has enthralled Sin City guests, will open a second attraction in Abu Dhabi.

U2 have announced extra dates as part of their residency at Las Vegas’s new Sphere venue. The Irish rock band will now be performing their show U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere through until February next year.
