Snow, ice bring dangerous travel conditions in Philadelphia area Friday — timing and snow totals
You'll want to stay off the roads Friday evening and overnight into Saturday because a strong winter storm is approaching the Philadelphia region. A NEXT Weather Alert is in effect from 3 p.m. Friday through 10 a.m. Saturday because of potentially dangerous weather.
A strong cold front will sweep through the area Monday, bringing falling temperatures, gusty winds exceeding 40 mph, and the potential for rain changing to snow. Wind chills Monday night into Tuesday could drop to between minus five and 10 degrees as below-normal temperatures settle in for Tuesday and Wednesday.
