Isabeau Levito channeled her inner Holly Golightly in a dramatic performance to music from the film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” on Friday night to take the lead after the short program at Skate America,

The 2022 Olympic team medallist came from fourth after the short program to take the crown in the Grand Prix season opener in Texas.

Isabeau Levito dazzled in a dramatic performance to music from the film "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and leads at Skate America after scoring 68.43 in her short program Friday night. Fellow American Bradie Tennell is second at 66.

Isabeau Levito already has a U.S. title, a world junior title and, most recently, a senior world silver medal. Now she is one skate away from her first Skate America crown after finishing runner-up the last two years.

The Japanese duo, who finished second earlier this year at the World Championships, earned a short program score of 77.79, well clear of Americans Ellie Kam and Danny O’Shea (70.66). Georgia’s Anastasiia Metelkina and Luka Berulava rounded out the top three at 68.64
