The Indiana Pacers held off the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night, winning 116-107 at home to take a 2-1 series lead. The sold-out crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse had a blast all night long going nuts for the home team,
Game 1, a loss on the opposition’s final shot. Game 2, an easy win. Game 3, another loss to fall behind in the series again.
Former Gonzaga standouts Chet Holmgren and Andrew Nembhard faced off in Game 3 of the NBA Finals as the Pacers edged out the Thunder 116-107.
That play set the tone for the night. As much as the Pacers are known for their free-flowing up-tempo offense, they lead the NBA Finals 2-1 because they played an elite defensive game Wednesday night.
