On the official Rockstar website – if you can get it to load right now with everyone else trying to access it – the developer has shared character profiles for its protagonists and some of its supporting cast,

Cal is Jason's friend, enjoying a carefree life while Jason has bigger ambitions. Boobie Ike, a Vice City legend, has built a business empire with aspirations for a music hit alongside Dre'Quan, a gangster-turned-musician.

The company also revealed information about the characters who will take the centre stage in GTA 6. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos are the protagonists who “find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America” — the state of Leonida.
