Rochester’s own “Juke Box Hero” Lou Gramm will join other music legends in Clevland on Saturday for an induction ceremony of this year's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class.

The English-American rockers — with hits like “Cold as Ice,” “Hot Blooded” and “Waiting for a Girl Like You" — topped the charts in the 1970s and ’80s but never made it into the hall — much less a ballot — until last year, despite being eligible for more than 20 years.

Lou Gramm, former lead singer and a founding member of Foreigner, talks about touring a few more dates in the coming year and then calling it quits and how that decision came about.

This month, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame rectifies a wrong that many rock fans will celebrate with their lighters up in the air — the band Foreigner will finally be welcomed in.

Rochester-area native Lou Gramm will be reuniting with his Foreigner bandmates Saturday night as they are inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The ceremony, which is taking place on Oct. 19 at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland,
