Enough monsoon moisture hangs around Thursday for shower chances in the late morning and early/mid-afternoon. The showers will first start over the mountains by mid-morning and then drift over the Las Vegas Valley. By late afternoon, dry air will move in and push showers out of the area. A high of only 98 degrees is expected on Thursday.
