A man has been charged with stalking Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas for more than six years. Kyle Shaw appeared at South Sefton Magistrates' Court on 3 January, a spokesman for the courts service confirmed.

Shirley Ballas was stalked for six years by a man who made her feel afraid to carry out her "usual day-to-day activities”.
