The Tampa Bay Buccaneers received some bad news coming out of the Week 2 preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bucs wide receiver Jalen McMillan left the game after going up and getting a deep ball from quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and landing awkwardly on his neck on the way down to the ground.

Godwin’s recovery and McMillan’s injury put rookie Emeka Egbuka as the de facto No. 2 receiver behind Mike Evans to start the season. And, even when Godwin returns, Egbuka would still be slotted in as WR3, giving him plenty of snaps to win targets.
