The Jaguars gave up a fourth-rounder and a sixth-rounder to get Meyers, a 1,000-yard receiver last season. They view him as a guy they think they can convince to stick around; if not, they wouldn't have overpaid with that fourth-round pick. And, it helps that Jacksonville is a lot closer to his hometown of Lithonia, Georgia, than Las Vegas is.
Jakobi Meyers has gotten his wish. The Las Vegas Raiders wideout traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Tuesday in exchange for fourth-and-sixth-round NFL draft picks. Adam Schefter of ESPN first reported the deal.
