A man who was rescued from a fire at a multi-family home in Hartford on Saturday has died. Firefighters responded to the fire at 45 Fenwick Street around 1:50 p.m. They encountered heavy fire on the rear porches of the building.

The department responded to a home on Crystal Place, and helped to evacuate two people living there along with their dog.

(WFSB) - 19 people were displaced following a house fire in Hartford Saturday afternoon. Officials say that the blaze broke out at around 1:48 p.m. in the area of Fenwick Street. When crews arrived, they observed a heavy fire from the rear porches that extended to the third floor and to another building.

A fire in Hartford’s South End left a civilian and a firefighter hospitalized. Five families, including 10 adults and nine children, are displaced.
