Nearly half-a-million Floridians were still without power Monday morning, days after Hurricane Milton barreled through the state's west-central coast.

About two million customers in Florida have already lost power Wednesday night from Hurricane Milton, which made landfall near Siesta Key in Sarasota County before cutting across the middle of the state.

When Hurricane Milton made landfall on the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 9, millions of people lost access to power and water. At one point, 3.2 million had lost power in the state, and 1.7 million of them were on the Gulf Coast.
