Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Humberto is chugging along in the open Atlantic, where it’s expected to become a hurricane over the weekend and potentially a major hurricane early next week.

Baby sea turtles in Florida are being washed back to shore due to the massive waves kicked up by hurricanes Humberto and Imelda in the Atlantic. FOX 35 Orlando Reporter Manny Martinez has more from Volusia County.
Humberto has maximum sustained winds of nearly 100 mph and a minimum central pressure of 972 mb. It has been downgraded to a Category 3 storm. The hurricane is forecast to travel north-northwest before gradually turning to travel more northward, then east-northeast late Tuesday or Wednesday.
