19 First Alert Day: System snow arrives later this afternoon
Snow continues through tonight. Current data has a 1 to 4 inch snow area wide by tomorrow morning. Tomorrow will be blustery in some towns with a west wind at 10-20 mph. Lake effect snow showers will be in the area. Locally over 2 inches of additional snow where snow bands persist. Afternoon temperatures around 30 degrees.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Today is a First Alert Weather Day because of wintry precipitation creating some slick driving conditions. As of 6 a.m., the Lubbock Police Department has already responded to some wrecks, even though precipitation amounts have been fairly light.
