The Fels High School community is mourning the death of one of their students after he was killed during an early morning shooting in Feltonville. According to Philadelphia Police, the victim, 17-year-old Noah Scurry,

Noah Scurry, a 17-year-old Samuel Fels High School basketball player, was murdered while on the way to school Tuesday.

The boy was getting into a car to go to school at Samuel Fels High School with his mom Tuesday morning when he was shot, School District of Philadelphia spokesperson Monique Braxton said.

Noah Scurry was fatally shot outside his home on Rorer Street Tuesday morning. He recently had the top SAT score in his class.

A 17-year-old was shot and killed behind his Feltonville home on Tuesday morning, according to Philadelphia police. The shooting occurred on the 5000 block of Rorer Street in the Feltonville section of North Philly.
