Chicago legend and former NBA MVP Derrick Rose will see his jersey raised to the rafters of United Center when the Bulls honor him on Jan. 24, 2026, the team announced.

The Chicago Bulls announced Thursday that Derrick Rose’s No. 1 jersey will be retired Jan. 24 in a ceremony after a home game against the Boston Celtics.

Rose's No. 1 will be the fifth number to ever be retired by the Bulls, joining Jerry Sloan (No. 4), Bob Love (No. 10), Michael Jordan (No. 23) and Scottie Pippen (No. 33). It will also mark the first time the Bulls have retired a number in more than 20 years, as Pippen was the last player to have his number retired on Dec. 9, 2005.
