Barcelona have been dealt a blow in their hopes of registering Dani Olmo and Pau Victor in their squad for the second half of the 2024-25 season in La Liga, with the club’s court appeal for a precautionary registration measure rejected.

A Spanish court on Friday said it had rejected Barcelona's request to register Dani Olmo beyond the year's end, potentially pushing the star closer to leaving the Catalan giants for free.

Barcelona suffered a setback on Friday after it emerged that the judge of Commercial Court No. 10 had decided to deny the precautionary measure that would have allowed Pau Victor and Dani Olmo to be
