Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., also issued a subpoena to the Justice Department for "records related to" Epstein, a convicted sex offender who was found dead in his jail cell in 2019 while he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The Clintons were issued subpoenas along with eight other government officials to appear before a congressional committee investigating Epstein. It comes as pressure is mounting for Donald Trump both politically and publicly for the grand jury transcripts of both Epstein and long-time companion Ghislaine Maxwell’s cases to be released.
