The police cordoned off the hotel where the 31-year-old singer of the British band died as fans gathered to mourn him.

Liam Payne, a former member of the boy band One Direction, was found dead Wednesday in Buenos Aires after reportedly falling from the third floor of a hotel, according to ABC and The Associated Press. He was 31 years old.
