Brigitte Bardot Advocated for Rescue Animals in Final Social Media Post 1 Day Before Her Death
Brigitte Bardot's death was announced by the Brigitte Bardot Foundation on Sunday, Dec. 28. A day prior, the foundation had shared a video on Instagram of Bardot with a dog in need of a new home.
Bardot made dozens of movies across her career with highlights including Christian-Jaque’s Babette Goes to War and Jean-Luc Godard’s Contempt. She won a David Di Donatello in 1961 for Henri-Georges Clouzot’s The Truth and was BAFTA-nominated in 1967 for Viva Maria!
