The city of Aurora will hold a wreath-laying ceremony on Sunday to honor those who lost their lives in the mass shooting at the Henry Pratt Co. facility in the city seven years ago.

Hundreds of students walked out of class in Aurora on Friday, days after a much larger protest turned chaotic and led to arrests.

An independent review has been launched into allegations of "excessive force" used by Aurora police during an anti-ICE student walkout at a high school earlier this week.

NOAA is forecasting a turbulent solar wind of Saturday, Feb. 14 (Valentine's Day) and Sunday, Feb. 15, with displays of the aurora borealis possible in northern states.

Thompson was booked into custody and now faces prosecution as investigators and prosecutors sort through the case. Aurora police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the chase or captured it on video to contact investigators and help them piece together the full sequence of events.

CEO Chris Urmson called it a “superhuman” moment, adding that Aurora’s trucks can now carry freight 1,000 miles in 15 hours — faster than what a human driver can legally accomplish.

One of the boys arrested and charged told ABC7 that he complied with officers and still was tackled to the ground.

Shortly after 7 a.m. firefighters in Aurora were called out to a fire at the Edgerton Explorit Center.
