Spinners Sajid Khan and Noman Ali made hay with the new ball in Multan, taking nine wickets between them to bundle out West Indies for 137 before captain Shan Masood's second-innings fifty helped Pakistan to build a 202-run lead on the second day of the first test on Saturday.

MULTAN: Spin wizards Noman Ali and Sajid Khan guided Pakistan to a strong position against the West Indies after another spin dominated second day's play in the opening Test in Multan on Saturday. The pair shared nine wickets between them to dismiss the West Indies for a paltry 137 in reply to the home team's 230 all out earlier in the day.

On Saturday, January 18, at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Pakistan began Day 2 at 143/4, with Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel having already registered half-centuries. They added 44 runs to the overnight score before the southpaw was dismissed by a peach of a delivery by Kevin Sinclair.
