We are going to be in Sydney in June 2020, but not sure if the Three Sisters and the area around it was affected by the fires. It is a full day, very long, tour and I don't want to waste my time and money if it isn't nice anymore.

This place is perfectly fine and the views were great when we visited on the 22nd of Jan. Very recommend everyone to visit. You shouldn't jave anything to worry about if you decide to visit. It gets dark quite late in January. Sun sets around 8pm. An afternoon tour would be ideal because it’s often very very warm during the day in January.

Not sure why the OP's question is being asked on this page though and the Grand Canyon is nowhere near The Three Sisters! As for a private guide, you are better off engaging a local one to pick you up from either Katoomba station or Blackheath station.
