Located down in Casco Antiguo, on the Plaza de la Independencia. Not at the canal. This is actually much more interesting than the canal. You can easily spend a couple of hours walking through here. …Full review by saltsy372

Can you enter the museum more than once and return with the same ticket? If we don't finish seeing everything before we have to go to an arranged lunch, can we return to finish the exhibits?

My grandfather, John Ralston Bingaman Sr., and a friend Wendel Green spend their Sundays swimming the canal. They would put a stake where they stopped and start up the next Sunday. My father, John Ralston Bingaman jr, was born in Panama on Dec 31, 1917. John Sr. swam against Duke Kahanamoku in Hawaii when he was the top swimmer for the 7th Fleet. Grandpa threw me in the ocean in Florida when I was 2 weeks old. I have been surfing for over 70 years, By the way I am John Ralston Bingaman III. I love in Hawaii. In 2017 I asked if Panama would let me swim the Canal on the anniversary but I got turned down.
