The cable lift has a wheel chair platform to the right of the steps facing and Mother of Georgia is accessible There is a road that leads up so you could get to the bottom of the fortress entrance area But even able bodied have a steep incline to access the fort and good shoes are advisable although once inside people of determination and their support could access the church But the fort is all rocky paths and in places scrabbling over the terrrain and broken battlements Dot the cable car for sure AND enjoy much
