I advice strongly to stick to Bruges; The reason is simple: you need at least 2,5 hours to get to Paris when there is no traffic jam. and 2,5 hours back. Even when you get a personal driver , it is quite ridiculous to do that, even to see the Champs Elysees. Bruges at one day is just ok and you will not be stressed .
