The lakes are beautiful with gorgeous views of the Spanish Peaks. We really enjoyed Horseshoe Lake as we kayak and fish and it is a no wake lake. We stayed in the tent camping area known as Yucca. …Full review by workstoretireinfl

Is lake windy during summer months? How busy for waterskiing and wakeboarding?

It was quite windy over the entire Mem Day weekend 2022. Made it difficult to do water sports, especially kayaking and forget paddle boarding.

can you take your stand up paddle board to the lake and use it

I didn't see anyone paddle boarding, but I wold say yes because they have a nice spot where you could put in a kayak.
