Small enough to take in within an hour or so. You won't feel like you have to rush through because it's so big and there are plenty of employees and volunteers to answer your questions.Full review by grannypanties

Agree with the previous answer of 1-2 hours. The center itself is one building with 2 outside tanks and some bird cages. If you like to walk, the trails across the way along the ocean are good. Do leave time to take the 10 minute shuttle bus from the parking lot to the center itself (required); his bus runs every 30 minutes.
