Windows 11 pro with Bitlocker setup - Super User
I would like to protect my Windows 11 Pro desktop and laptop with Bitlocker and password/pin. Here's my struggle after I encryped the drive and want to protect the drives in the case the entire pc is stolen.

Windows 11 BitLocker Need Recovery After BIOS Update
Currently I am running Windows 11 (latest 22H2 build) with BitLocker enabled with initial PIN login. I recently been facing some Sleep / Wake and Crash issue (different issue) with my desktop, so I decided to update my BIOS to see if it will fix it. After I updated BIOS and rebooted, it took me to the PIN login to unlock BitLocker.

Finally I installed Windows 10 Pro on a separate machine, and connected the encrypted drive, Windows recognized it as a Bitlocker drive, and I was able to unlock it with the recovery key, and the valuable data was saved! The end. If you're wondering why I didn't just boot the encrypted drive, it is in a bad state and cannot boot.

Does installing Windows 11 automatically encrypt all drives?
The article you quote indicates that only clean installations of Windows 10 or Windows 11 may enable BitLocker drive encryption. The article is also wrong, I just got through installing both Windows 10 and Windows 11 to VMs this weekend, and in both cases BitLocker was not enabled.

How can I prevent BitLocker asking for recovery key every time?
Recently when I tried to boot Windows, BitLocker asked me to enter the recovery key every single time after I entered the PIN. My machine is a Fujitsu Lifebook E547, which uses UEFI with Secure Boot and TPM both enabled, with the default boot entry being GRUB2 from which I loaded Windows Boot Manager.
